Important! Dead Period

Starting the Summer of 2024, VUSD will be instituting a Transfer Dead Period in order to allow schools and teachers to properly prepare for the upcoming school year. During this Dead Period, transfer requests of any kind will not be permitted. Additionally, during this time, the student transfer request links will not be accessible via the VUSD website, nor will paper transfer requests be accepted. The Transfer Dead Period will start on Monday, July 15 2024 thru Sunday, Sept. 1st 2024. During this Dead Period, existing transfer requests will not be reviewed nor considered. Once the Dead Period has ended, VUSD will resume accepting transfer requests only. The approving of transfers will continue to occur only during the Summer.
